Luca Dipierro and Michael Kimball first
collaborated on the short film, DEAR EVERYBODY
(2008), which was based
on Michael’s novel of the same name. Later that same
year, they shot I WILL SMASH
YOU, a
documentary in which dozens of people each tell a
story about an object that has some personal meaning
for them and then destroy that object in whatever
manner they wish. In 2009, they started
shooting 60 WRITERS / 60
PLACES, in
which 60 different writers read their work in 60
different places.
Luca and Michael
share a visual and narrative aesthetic. Together, they
are Little Burn
Films.
